SUNNYDENE

We purchased Sunnydene in June 2002, since then we have been continually working to make it one the best Guest houses in Great Yarmouth, in June 2005 we purchased the adjoining Guest House (Concorde Hotel) since then we have been working to bring it up to the standard of Sunnydene, we were rewarded on the 5th July 2007 with a 4 star rating from Visit Britain, making all of our hard work worth while.

To see how we Sunnydene has changed over the past 5 years check out our refurbishment page.

We have 23 bedrooms all with en- suite shower rooms, we are located at the quieter part of Great Yarmouth, just a couple of minutes walk from Great Yarmouth's famous Golden mile and the Venetian Waterways.

On your arrival you will be greeted by the proprietors Martin and Pam, and offered a refreshing cup of tea or coffee after your journey.

During your stay you are welcome to use our fully licensed bar located next to the television lounge, or just sit and relax watching television, the bar offers draught bitter, lager and cider as well as a good choice of canned beers and soft drinks, our prices are much lower than the local pubs i.e. Carling lager Just £2.30 per pint and Worthingtons creamflow bitter Just £2.20 per pint.

During your stay why not visit the Venetian Waterways, Boating Lake , Sea Life Centre, The Marina complex and the 2 Piers all located along Great Yarmouth's golden mile, the hotel is located within easy reach of the town centre shops, market, racecourse, greyhound and stock car stadium, the local busses run every 10 minutes during the summer season and every 20 minutes out of season, there are bus stops located a couple of yards from Sunnydene.

If you fancy a day trip on the Norfolk Broads just one of many day trips, the coach picks you up and drop you off just around the corner, or if you fancy an old time musical night out at Gorleston's Pavilion Theatre, where a free coach will take you and bring you back.

Of course there is also Britannia Theatre just 20 minutes walk or 5 minuets by taxi for a great night out.

Every Wednesday during the summer season there is a free firework display at the jetty between Britannia and Wellington piers.
