Terms and conditions
Arrival Times
Rooms are available from 2pm, if you arrive before this time you are welcome to deposit your luggage for storage. If you anticipate you will arrive after 6pm please telephone us and let us know your estimated arrival time.
Deposits
Deposits are not normally required if secured by a valid debit or credit card, if you don't have a debit or credit card we will accept a cheque, this should be received within 7 days of the making the booking. If a cheque deposit is not received within 7 days the booking will be cancelled, and our cancellation policy will be invoked.
Payments
Payments are due on arrival, if paying by cheque these should be received by us, at least 14 days prior to arrival, we will not accept a cheque on arrival. We accept all major debit and credit cards.
We reserve the right to correct errors in pricing when quoting
Non Paying Guests
Regulations only allow our paying guests access to our rooms, therefore only paying guests are permitted in the rooms. Any non paying guests found in the rooms will be asked to leave immediately regardless of the time. As this breaks the contract between the hotel and the paying guest, the paying guest may also be asked to leave.
Dogs
Should you bring your well behaved dog ( No Puppies under 1 year old ) then you must abide by our rules, dogs are not to be left alone in the room, except at meal times where we make an exception, provided they are calm and do not disturb other guests, dogs are not permitted on the beds or furniture within the hotel. Should any damage be found you will be held responsible and will be asked to pay for the damage, this includes unserviceable bedding, towels due to excessive dog hair and cleaning of soiled carpets. A £50 refundable deposit is required.
Car Parking
We have limited parking and cannot guarantee spaces, we do however reserve one space for the disabled. Any cars parked on our property must be parked with consideration for others to park, and parked at own risk. There is a free car park within a minuetes walk from Sunnydene.
Failing to arrive / Cancellations
If you fail to arrive this is considered as a cancellation and treated as such. To cover the costs of processing your cancellation and the risk of our not being able to re-let rooms, we make the following cancellation charges:
If your cancellation is 28 days or more prior to the start of your holiday this will result in the loss of deposit only. If the booking was secured with a debit or credit card then the value will be one nights stay per person.
If your cancellation is 28 days or less prior to the start of your holiday this will result in the loss of the cost of the holiday minus the cost of any food not taken. This also applies to late bookings (debit or credit cards used to secure booking will be transacted).
We will make every effort to re-let the rooms. If the rooms are re-let then this will result in the loss of your deposit only.
The debit or credit card used to secure the booking will be transacted to recover the costs, and payment slip sent to you with the revised invoice.
We strongly recommend you take adequate holiday insurance to cover these costs and other unforeseen eventualities.
