Terms and conditions
Rooms are available from 3pm, if you arrive before this time you are welcome to deposit your luggage for storage. If you anticipate you will arrive later than 6pm please telephone us and let us know
your estimated time of arrival.
A £50 non refundable deposit is required per room booked on the day of the booking, if you don't have a debit or credit card we will accept a cheque, this should be received within 7 days of the making
the booking. If a cheque deposit is not received within 7 days of making the booking, the booking will be cancelled, and our cancellation policy will be invoked.
Payment balances are due on arrival (no exceptions), if you wish to pay by cheque these should be received by us, at least 14 days prior to arrival; we do not accept payment by cheque on arrival. We
accept all major debit and credit cards, there are no surcharges on debit cards or credit cards.
If for any reason you should cut short your holiday there are no refunds.
We reserve the right to correct errors in pricing at the time of quoting.
Non Paying Guests
Only our paying guests are permitted access to our rooms, any non paying guests found in the rooms will be asked to leave immediately regardless of the time. As this breaks the contract between the
guesthouse and the paying guest, the paying guest may also be asked to leave.
Sunnydene is a smoke free establishment, with smoking areas outside, anyone found smoking may be charged £100 to return the room to it's original smoke free state.
Please take care when staying in our property. You are responsible and liable for any breakages or damages, which you cause, to the accommodation or its contents. All we ask is that you report any
incidents as they occur. We do not normally charge for minor breakages, but we may send you an invoice for repair or making good if the damage or breakage is significant.
Should you bring your well behaved dog then you must abide by our rules, dogs are not to be left alone in the room, except at meal times where we make an exception, provided they are calm and do
not disturb other guests, dogs are not permitted on the beds or furniture within the guesthouse. Should any damage be found you will be held responsible and will be asked to pay for the damage, this
includes unserviceable bedding, towels due to excessive dog hair and cleaning of soiled carpets.
We have limited parking and cannot guarantee spaces; we do however reserve one space for the disabled. Any cars parked on our property must be parked with consideration for others to park, and
parked at your own risk.
Failing to arrive / Cancellations
If you fail to arrive this is considered as a cancellation and treated as such. To cover the costs of processing your cancellation and the risk of our not being able to re-let rooms, we make the following
If your cancellation is 28 days or more prior to the start of your holiday this will result in the loss of deposit only.
If your cancellation is 28 days or less prior to the start of your holiday this will result in the loss of the cost of the holiday. This also applies to late bookings (debit or credit cards used to secure booking
will be transacted).
We will make every effort to re-let the rooms. If the rooms are re-let then this will result in the loss of your deposit only.
The debit or credit card used to secure the booking will be transacted to recover the costs, and payment slip sent to you with the revised invoice.
We do not accept any liability for any damage, loss or injury to any member of your party or any vehicles or possessions, unless proven to be caused by a negligent act by ourselves or our employees or
contractors whilst acting in the course of employment.
We strongly recommend you take adequate holiday insurance to cover these costs and other unforeseen eventualities.
Any data collected during the course of this booking will be stored on our computer(s) (not card details. These are destroyed after your arrival.
